With its latest outpost at Resorts World Sentosa, the legendary Chatterbox reinvents itself as Chatterbox Café, a contemporary take on Singaporean culinary heritage with a leisurely café-style twist.

Nestled within Weave at RWS, this refreshed space offers a charming slice of nostalgia reinterpreted for the modern palate, complete with heritage kuehs, specialty coffee, and an evolving seafood showcase.

First launched in 1971, Chatterbox rose to national acclaim for its Mandarin Chicken Rice, a dish that has become synonymous with Singapore’s culinary identity. This beloved signature remains proudly on the new menu; for its fans, you’ll be happy to know that it’s still tender, fragrant, and deeply comforting. This iconic dish is now priced at a special S$23 as part of an RWS-exclusive promotion.
Another classic to go for: Grilled Satay (S$15). These are served as a plate of six skewers, with a mix of chicken and beef. Served with onions, cucumber, and ketupat, along with a sweet-savoury peanut sauce, this is a dish that we really enjoyed and will order every time we visit.
But Chatterbox Café is more than just a rerun of its greatest hits. Think of it as the cool younger sibling of the flagship Hilton Singapore Orchard location, bringing a fresh, relaxed energy while keeping the soul of the brand intact.

One of the most delightful additions to the new concept is its tea-time menu, centred around handcrafted Peranakan kuehs. Served in a vibrant platter (S$13++), highlights include the tender Sago Bandung and the nutty, caramelised Sarang Semut; each piece made fresh in-house, honouring timeworn recipes passed down through generations.
Pair these with a cup from the artisanal coffee and tea selection, and you’ve got yourself a moment of quiet indulgence or a chatty afternoon with friends, in true Chatterbox spirit.

The Sweet and Sour Kurobuta Pork (S$22) is another new dish on the menu to try. The sweet-and-sour dish is fried to perfection and will be a hit with adults and kids alike.
Also, try the Stir Fried Prawn with Palm Sauce (S$26). The caramelised sauce coats the prawns to offer a bold, aromatic flavour that we couldn’t resist. In fact, it’s so good, we highly encourage you to enjoy it with its shell on.

From the drinks menu, we enjoyed the Peach, Yuzu, and Tamarind Slushie (S$8). This drink is built for our tropical weather and quenches our thirst instantly. For something more sophisticated, consider the Signature Chatterbox’s Punch (S$16), a G&T with a local twist. It features chilli, vanilla, cinnamon, lemon, and banana, giving the drink a spicy punch without overwhelming the palate.

From September onwards, look forward to the seafood menu gets even more exciting: expect fiery Black Pepper Crab, heady Kam Heong iterations, and wok-kissed Sambal Tiger Prawns, all crafted with a firm grasp on local flavours and a generous dose of wok hei.
Adding a playful touch to the dining experience is Archibald, Chatterbox Café’s feathered mascot. He stars in a range of limited-edition merchandise: from adorable plushies and collectible keychains (S$28) to oversized tees (S$48) and stylish tote bags (S$39). Available only while stocks last, these souvenirs are as charming as the mascot himself and make for thoughtful mementos of your visit.
