Experience the perfect ambience for heartfelt ruminations and authentic tea traditions with this 18-seater tea-house that’s located right in the heart of town, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Inspired by a heritage tea-house setting, this pioneering store is backed by the moving tale of a young tea farmer in Fujian who travelled around the world at the age of 18 in pursuit of the art of tea.
Today, Charlie Tea stands as a representation of the culmination of experiences and learnings of the tea farmer, where he hopes to convey the harmonious ability of tea that brings people together while cultivating an appreciation for this specialised art form.
Serving artisanal teas appraised by tea masters
Boasting a range of artisanal teas to be enjoyed both hot and cold, the brand promises the highest quality and pure authenticity in every sip, with tea leaves specially sourced, hand-picked, curated, and cultivated from the Fujian Province in China and Sri Lanka.
But here’s the real deal: every cup of tea brewed in Charlie Tea is carefully appraised by appointed tea masters to ensure the best flavour for your tasting!
Charlie Tea: The menu
The tea-house offers a comprehensive menu based on the foundation of its remarkably fragrant Pure Tea series (纯茶系列), comprising:
- Green Jade (an uplifting light-bodied green tea with an organic, earthy note)
- Mount Wu (a calming medium-bodied oolong tea with an intense roasted, nutty aroma)
- Red Phoenix (a lively full-bodied red tea with a light and fresh citrus note)
And of course, we can’t miss out on our local milk tea lovers! Take your pick with the selection of milk teas, from the lusciously fragrant Milk Tea (茶奶系列) and Pearl Milk Tea (珍丸茶奶系列) series.
If you’re in need of a stronger pick-me-up, opt for one of the invigorating drinks from the Cold Brew series (冷萃茶系列), featuring the Cold Brew Green Jade and Cold Brew Mount Wu.
Psst! These tea leaves are soaked for over 12 hours to ensure flavours are fully extracted for complete enjoyment! We’re definitely intrigued.
If you’re in search for a dose of vitamins, check out the Fruit Tea (果茶系列), Slushie+ (多多系列), and POP Tea (泡泡系列) series which feature drinks in a myriad of forms. Drink it however you’d like: pure, cultured milk-based, sparkling or ice-blended, all made with fresh fruits!
