From 14 July to 31 August, expect there to be snaking queues at your nearest Burger King outlet, because their annual Taste of Singapore special is back!
If you aren’t one of the lucky 100 to already have tasted and guessed it beforehand, this year’s flavour is the beloved Rendang Beef burger- only it’s bigger and better than before. Sandwiched between two toasted five-inch sesame buns, the limited-time-only XXL burger has two flame-grilled beef patties and fresh onions, topped off with a generous helping of Rendang sauce.
Not a fan of beef? Burger King also has a Rendang chicken version with a juicy, Tendergrill chicken thigh patty, as well as other treats inspired by traditional local culture and long-time favourites, like their Pulut Hitam Taro Pie, filled with glutinous rice and taro, or a refreshing SJORA Mango Peach Float to complete your meal!
AVENUE ONE tried the Rendang Tendergrill Chicken Burger and is impressed by how generous the sauce was. The fast food chain also didn’t hold back the heat, which makes the taste even more authentic.

The XXL Rendang Beef burger will be available from 18 July at SGD9.90 per value meal, while the Rendang Double Beef and Rendang Tendergrill Chicken value meals are sold at SGD7.50 from 14 July islandwide.
