Bak kwa lovers, there’s now a Bee Cheng Hiang pasta you can indulge in

Bak kwa is one of the food items we can never get enough of during Chinese New Year. And speaking of bak kwa, Bee Cheng Hiang is certainly one of the first brands to come to mind. One of Singapore’s most recognised bak kwa brands, it known for its handcrafted bak kwa that are made fresh every day, grilled over slow-burning flames of charcoal using traditional bamboo sieves.

As a joint national marketing initiative by Enterprise Singapore, Singapore Tourism Board and the Singapore Brand Office to instill appreciation and support for enterprising and inspiring local brand, Bee Cheng Hiang, as well as local footwear retailer PAZZION, have been recognised with the ‘Made with Passion’ brand mark in a strong bid to support local businesses thereby encouraging a trend of #localforlocal.

In a special collaboration with Bee Cheng Hiang, PAZZION Café introduces the Prosperity Bak Kwa Pasta (S$18) featuring al dente aglio olio, packed with the irresistible aroma of garlic and chilli flakes. Can you hear the bak kwa lovers in the AVENUE ONE team screaming?

Look forward to perfectly al dente pasta, garnished with generous strips of Bee Cheng Hiang’s caramelised and savoury hand-grilled sliced pork bak kwa. This mouth-watering, East-meets-West dish is hearty and you’re going to enjoy it, whether you’re a pasta- or bak kwa-love. The Chinese New Year-themed creation also symbolises the welcoming of good fortune and happiness in the new year.

While you’re indulging in the delectable bak kwa pasta dish, don’t forget to complement it with the specially-brewed Oriental Blessings Tea (S$6.80) as you look out to an unobstructed view of the Jewel Rain Vortex at PAZZION Café.

In this special beverage, Pu-er tea is infused with red dates to give it a natural sweetness that relaxes your senses. The refreshing iced drink is also topped with fresh mandarin orange cream foam and garnished with slivers of orange peel and goji berries to make it picture-perfect for the ‘gram.

PAZZION Café’s Double Happiness Combo, that includes the Prosperity Bak Kwa Pasta and Oriental Blessings Tea, is priced at S$20.80, and will be available till 28 February 2021. The pasta and tea can also be ordered individually at S$18 and S$6.80 respectively.
