Apple fans must have been hearing months of rumours about the brand’s third-generation AirPods. And a recent leaked image may tell you whether these rumours are dispelled or confirmed.

Shared by tech website MacRumors on Twitter, the supposed image of the third-generation AirPods appears to be a combination of Apple‘s second-genation wireless earphones and the in-ear AirPods Pro.
The photo depicts an elongated, rectangular case that mirrors the design of the AirPods Pro, and the earbuds themselves look more like Apple’s classic Airpods, which were designed without silicone in-ear tips.
According to MacRumors, the image shared is in line with what fans have been hearing about the third-gen AirPods, including reports of how they will be inspired by the AirPods Pro by having a smaller stem and has been tentatively dubbed as “AirPods Pro Lite”.
The model is rumoured to release in March.
