Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, of course our health and safety are the priority, but no one says you can’t protect yourself and others in style! At the recent Paris Fashion Week 2020, many fashion icons and celebrities were seen rocking stylish face masks that were fashion statements in their own right.
Putting aside how effective masks are in protecting you from the virus, we simply can’t get over how good these masks look, and we’re pretty sure you will be, too!
It’s Paris Fashion Week, so of course, all eyes were on the runway. It was here that French designer Marine Serre debut her Fall/Winter collection titled “Mind Melange Motor” where the outfits looked as if they came straight from a post-apocalyptic movie. The masks featured in the collection are both fashionable and functional.
The “Mind Melange Motor” collection wasn’t the first time masks were used in Marine Serre’s designs. This handy accessory has appeared multiple times in her previous collections, such as this badass outfit from her Fall/Winter 2019 collection “Radiation”:
Outside the runway, masks have also become a staple in many fashionistas’ outfits. They blend so naturally into the ensembles as if face masks have always been a regular fashion accessory instead of a precautionary measure during a health crisis.
