New menus and dining places you should check out in November

Despite Singapore being a foodie’s paradise, we often complain that we don’t know what to eat, simply because we don’t want to eat at the same old places.

To help you out the next time you can’t decide on what to eat, we’ve rounded up the latest menus from your favourite haunts, as well as a recently opened restaurant that you can check out if you’re up for something new.

il Cielo

As a tribute to the beautiful region where he once called home and honed his skills as a young chef, Chef de Cuisine Yohhei Sasaki has curated a new five-course Italian degustation menu, drawing inspiration from Tuscan landscapes, flavours and culinary techniques.

Cappellini Burro e Timo

The starters are contemporary versions of traditional favourites: Bruschetta al Pomodoro e Burrata and Insalata all Cacciatore. For mains, you will find the popular Capellini Burro e Timo, Grigliato di Caramaro alla Viareggina, as well as the Anatra Arrosto.

The five-course menu ends with Tramonto, a sweet and colourful plate of strawberry granite, yogurt gelato, white chocolate yogurt espuma and yogurt meringue arranged to resemble the stunning glow of a Tuscan sunset.

Uovo al Tartufo

Don’t miss out on the new Autumn Seasonal Menu either – this is inspired by Chef Sasaki’s adventures of hiking and foraging through the forests of Tuscany and features his signature fusion of Italian and Japanese cuisine. This menu consists of Tartare di Quaglia con Terrina di Foie Gras, Grigliato Maiale di Vino e Fungi Giapponese, as well as the indulgent, truffle-rich Uovo al Tartufo.
