ION Orchard X Grace Ciao

Art has always been a core part of ION Orchard, with the ION Art Gallery a unique part of the integrated experience shoppers have at the mall. The mall has collaborated with established fashion illustrator Grace Ciao on a series of stylish and sophisticated illustrations outlining the mall’s enhanced safety measures. Having illustrated for some of the fashion industry’s leading names, including Chanel, Dior and Elie Saab, Grace Ciao has injected her trademark style and elegance into these illustrations.

Poised for a “New Dawn”

As Phase 2 approaches, ION Orchard is taking the necessary measures so that shoppers are confident and can enjoy their shopping experience upon the mall’s re-opening. Shoppers can be assured that ION Orchard maintains the highest standards of hygiene and safety measures remains a constant.

Individual Contact Tracing

In line with government regulations, ION Orchard is implementing SafeEntry to facilitate the efficient collection of visitor information for the purposes of contact tracing and other response measures. All shoppers to ION Orchard will have to use SafeEntry NRIC or SafeEntry QR Code upon entry.

Mandatory Temperature Checks, Mask-wearing, Safe Distancing.

Shoppers to ION Orchard can expect to undergo temperature screening at all entry points to the mall. Shoppers must wear a mask before entering, and at all times when in the mall. Shoppers must also maintain a minimum one-metre safe distance from one another.

Maintaining Sanitisation Efforts.

To ensure the cleanliness of the mall at all times, ION Orchard’s ramped up sanitisation efforts will continue. Frequent touch areas such as mall railings, escalators and lifts are disinfected regularly, and hand sanitiser dispensers are available at all entry points, lift lobbies and Concierge Counters. The mall is also cleaned and sanitised frequently throughout its daily operations, as well as after-mall hours.

In addition, the mall has also recently introduced express priority queues at Concierge Counters for seniors, as well as expectant mothers.

Certified antimicrobial barrier treatments commonly used for aircraft cabins are applied onto high-touch surfaces in common areas, which form an invisible non-toxic, bio-barrier coating to prevent the spread of bacteria. All frontline and service staff are also expected to practise good personal hygiene by washing their hands with soap frequently.

Minimising Contact in the “New Normal”

Shoppers are encouraged to use mobile and contactless payments when making their purchases at selected physical stores. In addition, shoppers can also scan their own receipts on the ION Orchard mobile app to minimise the need to go to the Concierge Counters.

ION Orchard’s website and mobile application will also be consistently updated with essential health advisory information as well as the mall’s latest promotions.
