This is the third year the National Day Light-Up is happening, and this year’s edition will feature the National Museum of Singapore, Cathedral of the Good Shepherd, Central Fire Station, The Cathay, National Design Centre, and Stamford Arts Centre. Of these, four are National Monuments, and they are a reminder of our shared heritage and national identity.

The swashes of red and white lights are designed as an expression of our creative responses to our current times and an articulation of our dreams and aspirations. They also remind us that our future paths are our
own to blaze.

The National Day Light-Up at these six landmarks will happen from 1 to 27 August, from 7.30pm to 12am daily, except for National Museum of Singapore, which is already ongoing and will end the light-up on 10 August.
